It’s wild how one smile or one negative comment can change your day. I’m finding it harder to work in the restaurant more recently. But it’s those small moments of kindness from a customer that just completely makes your day! I was at work the other day when I asked an older lady how her day was and she told me she just got back from her chemo appointment. She was so worried she wasn’t going to like the food because her chemo has made her taste buds be a little wack. I was so moved by her willingness to open up to me, a complete stranger. We sat and chatted for about twenty minutes. I was completely moved by her and her perseverance.
So here’s Kayren’s life lesson No. 2 : Always take a second out of your day to listen to your seniors. They will always teach you something.
